"You Will See..."
A Miraculous Moment

Some days stand out more than others. Moments where we can't dismiss what we've seen or heard. Days where we know we are not alone, that we are looked out for.

It was nice and warm so I decided to kayak up stream. It is around 12 miles round trip. A very long trip. I enjoy the exercise and am always Thankful for my health. And I love the animals and beauty of the stream. But it is a hard long paddle for certain. On the way up I saw many manatee. They were abundant everywhere in the warm spring water. They come in and hide out from the colder ocean in the heart of winter. And there were a few large birds, Egrets and Herons, fishing along the way. Anhinga's were sitting on limbs as usual.

As I reached the top I was glad that I made it the whole way up once again. I greeted the cute Grebe couple that live there. Then I went over where I could look up at the giant Eagles nest with hope of what I might find. Behold, I saw the very top of two fuzzy blonde heads. There were two baby eagles peaking out of the nest every once in a while. What joy. New young life. I turned the kayak around with a smile glad for the Eagles. And I was looking forward to the nice gentle coast back down stream. Time to rest and enjoy the sights.

I always spend some time in Prayer throughout the day and often while I'm doing activity. A kind of walking prayer as they say, or paddling today. The Prayers and Blessings vary and come in many forms. The prayers merge with the moment, with the beauty around me. An appreciation of all we have been given on God's beautiful earth. A Thankful Prayer and Blessing.

In prayer I heard a message I have often heard this last few weeks. He said "It is all going to change. It will not stay like this. Good things are coming." He knows I have full faith in Him and also that we are all struggling with life right now. But I often say the phrase...  'He can move mountains'. Again I hear, "It will not stay like this." Then He added. "You will see. - You Will See ... (pause) ..."

It was said as an open ended statement. Like there was going to be another sentence following it. I waited and heard nothing. After a pause I gave thanks for the message and continued down stream wondering what was next.

In a short time I realized what was next, what was the missing rest of the message. I came around a bend in the stream and there, standing by the water, was the deer in the photos above. A young fawn standing by the stream ... looking like a spotted cow? Wait! What? I stared in amazement. What was I seeing?

I have never seen a deer like that. A partial albino? The normal looking doe was peacefully standing in the forest above. The fawn stood on the edge of the water looked at me. Not running, not afraid, just eagerly looking with intent, pure and gentle and calm. There was no mistaking this was part of His message.

God knows I am a visual learner and He often gives me signs where I live in nature, but nothing like this. There is no turning one's back on this deer after the open ended words ..... "You Will See ..."
I saw. I saw what was very obviously not a common sight. They backed His words. Clearly not something to say Oh we see them every day. No, This was a Miracle Fawn. Waiting on the shore to see me. Our eyes met for a long while. We were both frozen in the exchange. Then the current pushed me on down stream and the Miracle Fawn stepped up into the forest to join it's mom.

It was such a warm message and sight. A warm Blessing as we look out at the world around us filled with both chaos and Miracles at the same time. I've been asked before ... "Which do I want to see? What do I want to hang on too?" I'll hold on to Good, and Faith, and Miracles. And Thank God for looking out for us.
